September Favorites

We've officially bid adieu to September, but our love for these fashion, beauty, food, home, media, and culture picks has only just begun! Check out what we couldn't get enough of last month.

Grand Central Divaz Boutique Hudson Jeans. This month I purchased a pair of Hudson jeans from Divaz Boutique and I am obsessed with them! The cut is perfect (no hemming required) and they fit like a glove! Just for trying them on, I received a raffle ticket for a contest they were doing and I received an additional 10 raffle tickets for purchasing them. If I win, I will receive another pair for free! Here's hoping.... ♡T

Rebecca Minkoff Hudson Moto Mini Crossbody. This was an August buy, but I'm still seriously in love with my bag. It's the perfect size to fit my on-the-go essentials: wallet, Ray-Bans, iPhone, keys and a few lipsticks! ♡L

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. The only face wash I've found that doesn't dry out or irritate my skin. The balm turns into a luxuriously silky oil to remove makeup and grime from your face with ease. ♡L

Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment. I've had a few bad breakouts recently so I thought I would give the EradiKate acne treatment a try and, to my delight, I saw improvement after just one use! It has a strong smell so this may not be the treatment you want to use when your significant other is over, but I tend to think the products that have stronger odors are the ones that get the job done. ♡T

Garlic Parmesan Salmon & Asparagus Foil Pack. This month I ventured out and decided to cook salmon for the first time! It turned out great and it was super easy, so I'll definitely be making it again. I would recommend buying fish at a specialty store, because they often leave the bones in the fist at a typical grocery store. Make sure to click the link for the full instructions and ingredients! ♡T

The Zone Diet. This diet is easy to follow and doesn't leave you feeling deprived. Four nutritious meals keep you satiated and regulate your insulin levels. Up the ante by keeping everything you eat Paleo for maximum results. ♡L

Joss and Main French Bistro Set. This was a purchase I made over the summer, but my roommate and I love it and use it often! I was afraid that the table might be too small, but you can comfortably share a meal, drink your morning tea or enjoy the beautiful weather. Warning: assembly is required. It took me a good hour to put this together because it arrived in several pieces. ♡T

A Well-Stocked Spice Rack. This is going to sound majorly dorky, but my new favorite thing is the bulk aisle at our grocery store. Spices and tea galore that you just measure out, weigh, and take home with you for a fraction of the cost. Our cabinets are totally overflowing due to our spice and tea addiction. To cut down on waste, bring your own bottles to the store instead of using the plastic baggies! ♡L

Saturday Night Live. I am SO EXCITED that SNL is back. There was only 1 episode during the month of September, but I think it's off to a good start. This is the 40th season so SNL is taking it to another level with a great lineup of hosts, musical guests, and, no doubt, several surprise guest visits. They also played a vintage SNL episode prior to airing the new episode, which fans seemed to enjoy! ♡T

Rocky Horror Picture Show. This cult classic is having a major moment. The highly anticipated MAC collection is out now and live shows are popping up all over the place. I just saw it at Dallas Theatre Center and it was a blast! Prop bags and shout-back lines made the evening wickedly fun. ♡L

HeForShe. I didn't need another reason to love Emma Watson, but her amazing speech as the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador gave me quite a few. It's no secret that we still have a long way to go. At a time when even the word 'feminism' is seen as something wrong, passe, or even man-hating, this movement is as important as ever. ♡L

Sedona Soul Adventures Astrology Reading. So I might be slightly biased because my Aunt owns Sedona Soul Adventures, but I have enjoyed every reading I've had with one of her psychics/astrologists and the reading I had recently was no different! When I feel like I ned a little guidance, reassurance or clarity I do a reading. Sedona Soul Adventures also does spiritual retreats, which you can customize to your personal preferences, and sacred travel to Egypt, Bali and Peru. ♡T

We can't believe that September is already over, but we can't wait for all the October festivities!
