Boot Weather

'Tis the season! The cooler weather this time of year allows me to wear one of my favorite accessories: boots!

In my book, fall hasn't officially started until I can wear my Michael Kors boots. This year I'm on the hunt for the perfect pair of ankle booties, so I thought I would put together a smorgasbord of my favorite boot styles this season.

I love the pop of detail in the heel of this ankle boot to give this classic style a modern edge. Alexander Wang is a bit pricy, with these boots selling for $675, but you're bound to find a similar version of this style at your local department store!

Michael Kors Fulton Leather Boot

Of course, you can never go wrong with the classic Fulton Leather Boot. This style remains popular year after year - and for good reason! I have a similar pair in light brown that I wear constantly this time of year. This classic style happens to be on sale right now, so grab it up while you can!

BCBG Cleo Snake-Embossed Lace Combo Day Bootie

Looking for a little edge in your boot selection this year? Head to BCBG for this fabulous pair of snake skin booties, sold in black and deep blue. The Cleo boot was originally priced at $350 and is marked down to $210 (yay holiday sales!). The ankle cut off gives it a casual feel, while the stiletto heel and snake skin fabric dress up the look!

Tory Burch Simone Bootie

I am loving everything about this chocolate brown pair of Tory Burch booties! I may favor Ms. Burch because we share the same name, but her logo is one of my favorites and I love the way it is displayed on this ankle boot. The distressed leather and polished finish makes these booties a great staple piece for your wardrobe.

J.Crew Lowell Buckle Boots

If you're looking for a basic, but well made riding boot, J.Crew's got you covered! The Lowell Buckle Boot comes in three colors, all of which can be paired with almost anything. When it comes to a riding boot, I believe simplicity is key.

Happy Shopping and good luck finding the perfect boot/bootie for you!
